Appletree Nursery is based in Grenoside Park, S35. It is a beautiful location with far reaching views and lots of open parkland, and our local playground and Greno Woods are just a short walk away.
We are an inclusive, flexible and friendly nursery, dedicated to helping your children achieve their full potential. Whilst they are at Appletree your child will be engaged, stimulated and encouraged, they will take part in new and exciting experiences, develop and learn and make new friends in a safe and welcoming environment.

Our Nursery Rooms
Appletree Nursery provides care for children aged 3 months upwards in 3 rooms.
In this room our main focus is meeting all of your baby’s needs and making sure they feel happy and safe.
Braeburns is our toddler room, for children aged 2 to 3 years.
Our biggest room, Pre-school Pippins is for our 3 and 4 year old children.
Childcare Services
We offer free Early Learning places for children from the term after they are 9 months old, through to them starting school. Eligible children can attend term time only or throughout the year to suit their individual needs. We also offer non-funded places and the flexibility to pick up extra sessions and swap them, subject to availability.
Appletree Childcare welcomes children with special/additional needs and has a qualified and experienced SENCO and supporting team.
We work alongside other professionals and organisations to offer our children the care and support they deserve.

Ofsted
Our latest Ofsted inspection (September 2022) rates our provision as GOOD by Ofsted, and have met all required standards. This is the second highest award given by Ofsted and we continue to work together with parents and the community to make improvements in our aim to achieve Outstanding status.
